I grew up in the Philippines, a proud Bicolana. I grew up around food, heat, rain, and landscapes that don't feel like decoration, but like they're actually part of how life is lived. And of course, Bicol Express — something simple, but unforgettable, the same way home is.

What I value most are ideas that refuse to stay stagnant— ethical responsibility, justice, ways of thinking that make life more conscious, more bearable, more honest. I'm drawn to the belief that to live is not to settle into a fixed identity, but to remain in a state of becoming: always questioning, always forming, never entirely finished.

Design stopped being just about how things look, and became about how they're structured to make sense. As someone with a neurodivergent, scattered mind, I didn't realize how much I needed a framework like OOUX — not just for building better content systems for clients, but for organizing my own thinking. Clarity stopped being an abstract design value and became something I actually practice, for myself and for the people I design for.
