Philosophically Creative

I see creativity a little like putting together a puzzle. Every idea, story, and detail is a piece waiting to find its place. As a creative and web designer, I bring pieces together through visual design, digital experiences, and storytelling.

About Aesel

Hi! I’m Hazel. I’ve always been passionate about design: the go-to layout artist for publications, someone who loves journaling, tinkering, and spending way too much time thinking about life. I guess the last two won when I was filling out my college applications and somehow led me to Philosophy. Working with me is collaborative and structured. I value communication, consistency, and understanding the “why” behind each project. From first idea to final output, I aim to make the process feel less chaotic and more intentional—so you can focus on creating, growing your business and yourself, while I help bring everything together visually and operationally.

Sophia V. Prater
Founder of RewiredUX (2025-2026)

Bea Abigail R. Luna
Editor-in-Chief, Aletheia (2024-2025)

Throughout the period of working with Hazel as one of our layout artists in Aletheia, I have observed good qualities that I would like to commend- her promptness, creativity, and flexibility. Despite tight schedules, she successfully delivers her tasks on time and of good quality. She possesses good understanding of color harmony and spatial composition and it reflects on every output she submits. She also is very flexible in terms of the type of design or layout needed- whether it be for a Facebook post, banners, etc. Lastly, she is very open for comments and suggestions for changes in her designs whether simple or drastic.

Liliosa Rev P. Samar
Layout Artist of CASSIPI (2023-2024)

Hazel was also part of our editorial board as our [Online] Content Editor who also showed her skills in layout and designing. On a personal note, aside from the positive work attitude that I witnessed from Hazel, she also works with willpower not only to comply, but also had to re-do the tasks, which can be reflected in the quality of the works that she will pass on to you. So basically, she would not do the work just because it was expected of her, but she will do the work with her optimum capacity because she knows that she's capable of doing it. So, that's Hazel as our [Online] Content Editor as well as our Layout Artist in the CASSIPI.

Mylene J. Jeresano
Adviser of The Luzon Tip (2017-2024)

Hazel pours her heart out on whatever work she commits herself to. When I asked her to be The Luzon Tip's Online Publishing Team Layout Artist back in high school, she readily embraced the challenge. She diligently studied the features of the software for online publication, so she could fulfill her role in the team. Her dedication in her craft led their team to earn third place in the Regional Schools Press Conference that same year. She is also very fun to work with. Whenever their team felt pressured then, she would often do the silly expression "meow, meow" along with a cutesy face to lighten everyone's mood. Truly, she is a passionate team player and a joy to work with.

Grace Anne C. Jintalan
Editor-in-Chief, Luzon Tip (2021-2023)

It was a pleasure working with Ms. Tayam on the layout of our school broadsheet. She is not only a strong team player but also highly receptive to feedback and new ideas. Her dedication to producing the best possible output was evident throughout the process. Reliable and an excellent communicator, she made the collaboration completely seamless.
